Single Spotlight: Michael Padgett – Tell Her

mpOur spotlight shines on Michael Padgett this week. “Tell Her” moved from #71 to #67 on the Texas Regional Radio Report, adding +10 spins and picking up another station!  The track was cut at Fort Worth Sound and was shipped to radio last month.  Padgett told us “The song was written for and inspired by my loving wife, Sarah. I have written numerous songs that don’t mean much to me, stories and such. This song expresses the way a man should treat a woman, the way I try to treat my wife. I wrote a song called One Soul Angel back in 2003 about her and felt it was time to remind her how much I love her.”

This song stood out to us due to the great rhythm and Padgett’s soulful vocals.  Every time you listen to this guy, you can’t help but be happy.   You can feel his passion for each song’s inspiration, both vocally and lyrically, and this one really comes through.  The message behind the song is simple, yet profound,  and the upbeat music makes it great for mp1radio.

The release comes on the heels of “Celebrate”; which hit radio early last year and made its way in to the 60’s on the TRRR.  The track is off of the upcoming album, so be on the lookout! We expect this one to make its way inside the Top 50 and appear on the Texas Music Chart by the end of the month! Help us push this one up the charts by requesting it on your online and local radio stations!
